Sputnik

Sputnik is live as the Army-2024 Forum opens at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center near Russia's capital Moscow and will be held from August 12 to 14, with a total exhibition area of over 340,000 square meters.

Traditionally, the Army-2024 military-technical forum will feature military products, equipment, and weapons. This year, the Army program has been shortened to three days. Despite this, the forum is still attracting a lot of attention.

The exhibition is attended by the Russian holdings producing military equipment and weapons: UAC, Russian Helicopters, UVZ, Tekhmash, Rubin Central Design Bureau, High-Precision Systems, Rosel, Kalashnikov, and others.

The Army Forum has been held since 2015. Last year, delegations from defense departments of 83 foreign countries took part in the forum. As part of the Army-2023 forum, the Russian Defense Ministry signed and awarded state contracts to defense industry enterprises worth more than 400 billion rubles.
