The annual Army-2024 International Military-Technical Forum kicked off on Monday at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center near Moscow, bringing together defense officials and industry representatives from around the world, including China, Iran, and Mali, among other countries.
The three-day event, which runs until August 14, showcases the latest military technologies, equipment, and weapons from Russia and its international partners. Over 340,000 square meters of exhibition space are dedicated to displaying an array of military hardware, including products from Russian giants like UAC, Russian helicopters, UVZ, and Kalashnikov.
Delegations from 83 countries are participating in the forum, with 39 led by heads of defense ministries and chiefs of general staffs. This year, Belarus, Iran, India, and China have established national exhibitions, highlighting their defense industries and latest innovations. Representatives from over 120 foreign companies are also in attendance.
