The Guyanese-American further emphasizes the Caribbean's responsibility to unite the African diaspora, highlighting their shared interests, challenges, and destiny. He underlines the importance of mobilizing and sensitizing the diaspora to achieve a common voice.
“We do have common interests. We do have common goals. And if you look at trends in the world, there is a global India under the disguise of the name Gopio. There's a global China, and so it makes sense there is a global Africa because of all the commonalities of the past and all the shared interests of the future,” he explains.
