Plane Crashes Near Russian City of Kolomna About 140 km From Moscow

The plane, with only the crew on board, presumably crashed in the area of ​​Kolomna near Moscow; the crash site has not yet been found, emergency services told Sputnik on Friday.
“The plane crashed in a forest and exploded after colliding with the ground. According to preliminary data, the crew died,” the agency’s source said.
At the moment, the details of the incident, as well as the circumstances and the type and model of the aircraft, remain unclear. The investigation is underway.
The plane that crashed in the Moscow region was on a flight without passengers, the Federal Air Transport Agency confirmed.
The plane belonged to one of the civilian companies and was making a ferry flight, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported. They emphasized that it was not a domestically produced Sukhoi Superjet.
