Six people, including two children, were taken to hospitals after the Ukrainian armed forces carried out a drone attack on the port town of Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia's Krasnodar Territory, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said on Friday.
"According to the information clarified at the moment, unfortunately, there are casualties in Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Six people were hospitalized; two children were among them ... A three-story apartment building was damaged as a result of the attack. Residents of the building were evacuated. A temporary accommodation center was set up for all those who needed it," Kondratyev said on Telegram.
A substation that powers a significant part of the town was damaged, he said, adding that repair work was underway.
"I am sorry to say that, but a six-year-old girl died in a hospital of wounds sustained as a result of the UAV raid on Primorsko-Akhtarsk," Kondratyev said in a separate post.
He also wished all the injured a speedy recovery and promised to provide all the necessary help.
