Six People Taken to Hospital Following Ukraine's Strike in Krasnodar Territory, Governor States

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - A week ago, Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 25 Ukrainian drones over five regions, according to the Russian Defense Ministry's statement.

Six people, including two children, were taken to hospitals after the Ukrainian armed forces carried out a drone attack on the port town of Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia's Krasnodar Territory, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said on Friday.

"According to the information clarified at the moment, unfortunately, there are casualties in Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Six people were hospitalized; two children were among them ... A three-story apartment building was damaged as a result of the attack. Residents of the building were evacuated. A temporary accommodation center was set up for all those who needed it," Kondratyev said on Telegram.

A substation that powers a significant part of the town was damaged, he said, adding that repair work was underway.

"I am sorry to say that, but a six-year-old girl died in a hospital of wounds sustained as a result of the UAV raid on Primorsko-Akhtarsk," Kondratyev said in a separate post.

He also wished all the injured a speedy recovery and promised to provide all the necessary help.
