Russian President Putin Holds Working Meetings on Sidelines of SCO Summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin flew to the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. The Russian leader is taking part in the SCO summit and will hold a number of bilateral meetings, according to the Kremlin website.

The SCO summit will take place on July 3-4 in Astana. The summit participants plan to sign a package of 24 joint documents as well as adopt a final declaration and statement confirming the commitment of the association participants to the principles of good neighborliness and unity.
On the sidelines of the SCO summit in Astana, Putin will hold bilateral meetings with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev, the Aide to President for International Affairs, Yuri Ushakov, told reporters. Putin is also scheduled to meet with Iran's acting chief executive Mohammad Mokhber.
