The countries are also discussing the prospects of building low-power nuclear power plants in Mali, Rosatom added.
In addition, the two sides have discussed lithium mining and solar energy projects, Rosatom said.

Mali considers a strategic partnership with Russia to be important both in the field of solar and nuclear energy, Malian Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop earlier told Sputnik.
A nuclear power plant can ensure self-sustaining energy production and meet the needs of the Malian economy and the Malian population in the medium term, the minister added.
