This night, Russian air defenses destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones over six regions, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"Over the past night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped," the ministry said.
It said Russian air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed six drones over the Republic of Adygea (south of Russia), three drones over the Bryansk Region (southwest Russia), three over the Krasnodar Territory (south of Russia), one over the Rostov Region (about 200 km from Moscow), one over the Belgorod Region (located near the Ukrainian border), as well as one over the Oryol Region (southwest Russia).
