Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expects his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, to visit Minsk.
He said this in a congratulatory message on Ramaphosa's re-election as president of South Africa.
Lukashenko stressed that the complementarity of Belarus and South Africa's economies is an important factor in the implementation of potentially successful projects in the areas of food and energy security, technology transfer, and the creation of new industrial production facilities in South Africa.
Earlier, Cyril Ramaphosa was re-elected as president of South Africa. The country also formed a ruling coalition, which includes the African National Congress (ANC), the Democratic Alliance (DA), the Patriotic Alliance, and the Inkatha Freedom Party.
