Towards a Better Tomorrow: Combating Child Labor in Africa

Child labor poses a major challenge for the African continent, and we need to do more to stop it, comments Isabel Magaya, Manager for the Children and the Law Program at the African Child Policy Forum (ACPF).

“In order for us to adequately address child labor on the continent, we need to adopt a balanced approach. Importantly, we need to engage communities in dialogue. We need to distinguish between harmful child labor and beneficial age-appropriate work for children,” she explains.
