Russia and Sierra Leone have a long history of mutually beneficial exchanges and collaborative efforts to develop human capital, according to Kadiatu Allie, Sierra Leone's Deputy Minister of Finance.
“In terms of human capital development, that is one of the top priorities of our government. We have five pillars right now, and human capital development is primary. As you can tell, Russia and Sierra Leone have had a long-standing exchange and building of human capital. The honorable Minister of Mines studied here in Russia 35 years ago. So that has been the trend, and we hope to continue, that especially in these areas where we're lagging and where we need adequate help and knowledge to provide,” the Sierra Leonean official notes.
