South Africa's general and regional elections were held on May 29. On Saturday, the country's president's office said that a ceremony to announce the final results of the elections by the Electoral Commission of South Africa would be held on June 2.

"Nobody must declare tomorrow [...] I am hoping whoever is responsible is hearing us," Zuma said.

Zuma's party and at least 20 other parties have spoken out against the country's electoral commission over alleged rigged votes.
According to the electoral commission's counting data, after processing 99.91% of ballots, South Africa's ruling African National Congress party is leading with 40.2% of the votes, the opposition Democratic Alliance party is trailing with 21.78% and the MK party got 14.59%.
