NATO is escalating nuclear drills against Russia, Head of Russia's Border Service, Vladimir Kulishov, revealed.
"NATO's intelligence activities near the Russian border are increasing, the intensity of operational and combat training of the alliance's troops is growing," Kulishov said.
According to him, since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, 29 attempts by sabotage groups to infiltrate Russian territory had been foiled. Ukrainian groups were most active during the presidential election campaign.
Following the provocative remarks and threats from Western officials, Russia began the first phase of military exercises on May 21, focusing on practical training for the preparation and deployment of non-strategic nuclear weapons, the Russian Defense Ministry stated.
