The prosecutor generals of Russia and Morocco, Igor Krasnov and Moulay El Hassan Daki, sign a memorandum of understanding on joint work between their offices.
The document will be the basis for further cooperation between the two parties, including in the area of combating criminal threats, the Russian prosecutor general said, adding that it will also allow specialists of the two agencies to exchange best practices and establish strong working relations.
The memorandum provides a legal basis for preferential training of Moroccan prosecutors at the Russian departmental university on short-term professional development programs, he revealed, noting that it will be possible to recruit applicants from Morocco to study in five-year higher education programs.
Krasnov's visit to Morocco came shortly after his visit to another North African country, Algeria, where he and the country's justice minister signed a Cooperation program for 2024-2025 on combating transnational organized crime, countering terrorism, extremism and corruption.
