Tajikistan will introduce a visa regime for Turkish nationals starting April 20, Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan told Sputnik on Monday.

"Tajikistan is introducing a visa regime for holders of Turkish national passports starting April 20 in accordance with the decree of the Republic of the country dated March 28 in order to implement the principle of reciprocity," the ministry said.

Turkish citizens can obtain a visa of the Republic of Tajikistan at the embassies and consulates of Tajikistan abroad, a ministry representative said.
On April 6, published a decree that resumed visa regime for citizens of Tajikistan. From April 20, citizens of this Central Asian country will be required to apply for a visa and obtain it from the Turkish diplomatic mission in order to get to Turkey. The cost of a visa will be from $60 to $190, Sputnik previously reported.
However, the Turkish Embassy in Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe reported that the introduction of a visa regime is presumably a temporary measure.
