"A big blow inside Russia" prepared by Kiev and the CIA, a retired Tunisian general Taoufik Didi commented on the terrorist attack in Crocus City.
"Rather, we are talking about commandos who had a very clear mission to provoke a coup and therefore attack this concert hall and then return to their base," a retired Tunisian general told Sputnik Africa.
As in the case of the Nord Stream explosions, Ukraine was preparing a terrorist attack in Moscow with the "assistance" of the CIA, although the latter remained "in the background," financing it and providing intelligence to the Ukrainian side, Taoufik Didi stressed.
This operation, according to Didi, is explained by the fact that "they did not find a way to respond" after the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive and the offensive of the Russian army.
"Strategically, this is a mistake, because this strike will further rally the Russians and push them to move forward. And you will see, the reaction of the Russians will not take long to move on and finish the job in Ukraine," he concluded.
On Tuesday, FSB Director Bortnikov highlighted that Western special services and Ukraine needed the terrorist attack in Crocus in order to disrupt the situation and incite panic within Russian society.
