Syrian authorities have decided to merge the Military Intelligence Directorate and the Air Force Intelligence Directorate into one body, a Syrian security source has told Sputnik.
"National Security Bureau Director Kifah Moulhem has decided to merge the Military Intelligence Directorate and the Air Force Intelligence Directorate," the source has said.
The directorates will be merged into one body dubbed the Army and Armed Forces Intelligence, the source said.
