India Negotiating Oil Cooperation With Namibia, Guyana, Suriname, Petroleum Minister Says

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - During his visit to Namibia last year, Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said there was a much clearer picture of the opportunities that lay ahead for the two countries in the sphere of oil cooperation.

India is holding talks on oil cooperation with Guyana, Suriname and Namibia, Indian Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said.
"There is no shortage of crude oil in the world. My view is that there is enough oil present with OPEC+ ... we have been talking to Guayana, Suriname, Namibia … In coming time I don't see any difficulty in this," Puri was quoted as saying by Indian newspaper The Economic Times.
