Photo Gallery: Preparations for World Youth Festival in Russia

From March 1 to 7, Russia's Sirius Federal Territory will host the world's largest youth event by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The location of the event will involve all the venues of the 2014 Olympics.

The World Youth Festival will host 20,000 young Russian and foreign leaders in the fields of business, media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, volunteerism and charity, sports and various spheres of public life.
The festival is a platform for open communication and exchange of opinions, where everyone can express their point of view and be heard, unite to solve social problems and help each other to build a just world, according to the event's website.
As the head of the Sirius Federal Territory Dmitry Plishkin said, the preparations for the festival are almost complete, and the authorities are waiting for guests and participants of a major world event.
