Last Saturday, the Russian army liberated Avdeyevka, and the next day the forces took full control of the city, which is an important stronghold that will allow Russian forces to push further to the west, driving back the Kiev regime forces, and preventing them from launching further attacks against Russian towns and cities.
Last weekend, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the disorganized withdrawal of Ukrainian army units from Avdeyevka. The soldiers left military equipment behind as they deserted.
Furthermore, Russian fighters also discovered Western weapons at the location of the Ukrainian unit. Among the munitions, they found a batch of shells for an automatic grenade launcher, all foreign-made, presumably in Poland or Bulgaria.
Now the Russian army is clearing the suburban areas of Avdeyevka from the Ukrainian militants and demining roads and buildings in the city.
