Fire Breaks Out at Oil Depot in Russia's Kursk Region After Ukraine's Drone Attack, Governor Says

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - In early February, a Ukrainian drone was shut down in the Russian Volgograd region and caused a fire at the local oil refinery, no casualties were reported the region's Governor Andrey Bocharov revealed.

A fire broke out at an oil depot in Russia's Kursk region after a Ukrainian drone strike, but there were casualties reported so far, Governor Roman Starovoit said early on Thursday.
"A fire broke out at an oil depot in the Kursk region as a result of a Ukrainian UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] attack. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. All special services are currently working at the scene. I ask you to remain calm," Starovoit said on Telegram.
Nine Ukrainian Drones Neutralized by Air Defenses Over Russia's Territory
Earlier in January, four oil product tanks caught fire in the Russian town of Klintsy in southern Russia, leading to the evacuation of 32 people from homes in the area.
