Ukraine's Shelling of Donetsk Leaves At Least 25 People Dead, 20 Injured, DPR Head Says

DONETSK (Sputnik) - Since February 2022, the Ukrainian armed forces shelled the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic over 28,700 times, killing more than 4,000 civilians, including over 140 children, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes said.

The death toll in Ukraine's shelling of Donetsk has increased to 25, with 20 more people injured, Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People Republic, said.
Earlier, Pushilin reported 13 dead and 10 injured. Emergency services are working at the site, he added.
A Sputnik correspondent reported that a number of stores in Donetsk came under Ukrainian shelling.
According to the DPR mission to the JCCC, the DPR was subjected to more than 28,700 shellings by the Ukrainian armed forces. Over 4,700 civilians, including 142 children, were killed as a result of these attacks.
