France is part of the "intimidation group" led by the US and the UK, which is engaged in "bullying" other countries, Chinese military expert Qin An told Sputnik.
An example of such “bullying” is the recent bombing of Yemen by the US and the UK.
“One of the most significant features of the current international game is that, as the Russian Foreign Minister said, some countries are like 'hooligans in the yard.' In the Western world, France is a somewhat special country,” Qin said.
The reasons for this "specialty" are that France, despite the fact that it does not always act in unison with the US and UK, it is in fact still a member of this “wolf pack” and cannot completely abandon the “law of the jungle,” which evidenced by the fact that French mercenaries are fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Qin drew attention to the fact that against the background of the destruction of the mercenary corps in Kharkov by the Russian armed forces, it became known that 60-70 people with French citizenship and 200-300 people with double citizenship were fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In this regard, the expert believes that it does not matter whether France recognizes itself as a party to the conflict or not — the Russian army carries out its combat missions to destroy mercenaries thoroughly and cleanly.
At the same time, according to Qin, the Russian army must decisively combat the supply chain of American, British and French weapons to Ukraine.
Because even if countries do not admit their participation in the war, it is necessary to deliver destructive blows to the weapons that participate in it.
"In a word, when you are dealing with “yard hooligans” who do not show their faces, the recipe is simple: fewer words - more action," Qin concluded.
After the Ukrainian attack on the city of Belgorod two days before the New Year, Russia launched a series of retaliatory strikes. In one of them, a building housing the mercenaries was completely destroyed. More than 60 fighters were killed, and more than 20 were taken to medical facilities, the Russian Defense Ministry stated.
In light of the outflow of military-age men from the country, Kiev is finding it increasingly difficult to enlist new soldiers, which is why mercenary recruitment is ramping up.
