Additionally, Seychelles President Wavel Ramkalawan was cited as saying that three people had died in flooding caused by heavy rainfall in some districts on Wednesday evening.
Earlier in the day, Ramkalawan declared a state of emergency in the country due to the incident at the explosives warehouse located in the Providence industrial area on Seychelles' largest island of Mahe where almost 180 people reportedly got injured.
However, on Thursday, the state of emergency was lifted by the president.
In addition, Ramkalawan announced the opening of a relief fund for victims, where islanders and foreigners can send donations. He also said an investigation was underway.
