The Congress of Young Scientists is a prestigious event that brings together representatives of leading scientific and educational institutions from all regions of Russia, authorities, industrial partners, brilliant Russian scientists and, most importantly, young scientists, grant winners and students with significant achievements in research.
SputnikThe III Young Scientists Congress is set to take place in Sirius, Russia’s first federal territory, from November 28 to 30, 2023.
The congress aims to showcase the achievements of young scientists, foster their professional development, and promote the integration of science, education, and industry.
The congress is organized by the Talent and Success Educational Foundation, established in 2014 by prominent Russian figures in science, sports and the arts, with the renowned cellist Sergey Roldugin serving as chairman, the foundation runs the Sirius Educational Centre. This center caters to the most talented schoolchildren nationwide, along their teachers and mentors in year-round studies.
Sirius is an urban locality in Krasnodar Krai, located on the Black Sea coast. On December 22, 2020, a law designating Sirius as a federal territory was adopted and signed by President Putin.
