Inflation in Argentina Increases by 120% Since Beginning of Year: Institute of Statistics

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The highest increase in prices was recorded for communication services, as well as for clothing and footwear - 12.6% and 11%, respectively, with cost for healthcare services showing the lowest increase of 5.1%, according to the Argentine National Institute of Statistics and Censuses.

Inflation in Argentina reached 8.3% in October, up 120% since the start of 2023, the Argentine National Institute of Statistics and Censuses has said.
"The general level of the Consumer Price Index registered a monthly increase of 8.3% in October 2023," the institute said in a statement.
Since the beginning of the year, inflation increased by 120%, the statement read, adding that consumer prices rose by 142.7% year-on-year in October.
