An innovative unguided aerial missile has been developed in Russia, informed the Splav design bureau, which is part of the company Rostec, the giant of the Russian military industry.
This new-generation weapon, with a caliber of 80 mm, is equipped with a powerful engine. According to Rostec, this missile could lay the groundwork for the creation of missiles that combine the properties of concrete-breaking ammunition with explosive fragmentation.
Promising Design
Based in its characteristics, this invention is unsurpassed among all Russian and foreign analogues. The new engine enables the development of guided and unguided aerial munitions.
The use of the missile will thus allow attacking targets located in covered fortifications and in forested areas.
The designers of this missile received a professional award for their invention. In fact, they have managed to solve several scientific, technical and practical problems, Rostec said in a press release.
