The ongoing International RUSSIA EXPO form serves not only to showcase Russia's major achievements in various economic sectors, but also to provide a platform for exploring the cultures of the many peoples who inhabit the 89 regions of the world's largest country in terms of territory.
Russia is home to more than 185 different ethnic groups. Although nearly 81% of Russian citizens identify themselves as ethnic Russians, other large ethnic groups include Tatars, Ukrainians, Bashkirs, Chuvash, and Chechens.
