Russia-Chinese Foreign Ministers Meet in Moscow to Promote Bilateral Ties Development

In February 2022, Chinese President Xi Jinping unveiled a new target to raise trade turnover between Russia and China by an annual $250Bln. This June, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov explained that this bilateral trade and economic cooperation continues to expand, despite attempts by some countries to derail it.

Wang's visit to Russia is meant to promote bilateral relations and an exchange of views on security issues, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said earlier in the day.
