North Korean leader Kim Jong Un arrived in Russia for the first time since 2019. He was met on a bridge over the Tumen River in Russia's Primorsky Territory, on the border with North Korea.
The Environment Minister Alexander Kozlov published a video showing Kim Jong Un getting off the train, with a military band playing on the platform.
The North Korean leader arrived in Russia on his famous armored train and has already held talks with Primorsky Territory Governor Oleg Kozhemyako and minister Alexander Kozlov.
Speaking about the goals of Kim Jong Un's visit, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the leaders of Russia and North Korea intend to discuss bilateral cooperation in various spheres, the situation in the region, and international affairs, touching on "sensitive areas as well."
