Some 40 Flights Delayed, Two More Canceled at Moscow Airports After Attempted Drone Attacks

On Monday, A Ukrainian drone has been intercepted over the Russian Bryansk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Last week, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the terrorist activity of the Kiev regime continues, as the vast majority of drones fly to civilian targets.

Around 40 flights were delayed at Moscow airports of Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo on Tuesday amid information about attempted drone strikes in Russia, according to the schedule service of the Russian IT company Yandex.
Earlier in the day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that Russian air defense forces had destroyed drones in the Kaluga and Moscow regions that were trying to attack Moscow overnight. The mayor said later that another drone in the Tver region was destroyed while flying toward the Russian capital, with no casualties or damage reported.
As of 5:25 a.m. Moscow time [02:25 GMT], 24 flights were delayed and two more canceled at Moscow airport Vnukovo.
Two flights were delayed at airport Domodedovo, with 14 more delayed at Sheremetyevo.
