Somali President Mohamud Appoints New Chief of Staff

The move comes after the previous chief of staff, Hussein Sheikh Mohamoud, who had been in office for three months, resigned on August 13, citing personal reasons. In particular, he stressed his desire to enter politics and "work for the interests of the Southwest State and its people".
