Defense ministers of the Central African Republic, Burkina Faso and Guinea, who are heading national delegations, are among participants of the ARMY-2023 military-technical forum opened on Monday near Russia's capital.
Moreover, Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu will take part in the conference as part of his visit to Russia and Belarus from August 14 to 19, his ministry has recently announced.
To date, 63 states have confirmed their participation. Six countries are planning to present their national exhibits.
Russia will be presenting high-performance military equipment, including a drone bomber, the new MiG-35 fighter jet and other modifications to aircraft and helicopters already on the market.
According to reports, at the end of the forum, the Russian Defense aims to conclude contracts worth over $4.5 billion.
The forum coincides with the 11th Moscow Conference on International Security.
