Most of these tourists come from countries that have not imposed sanctions on Russia or have maintained friendly ties with it, such as China, India, the Middle East and Africa. They are attracted by Moscow's historical and cultural landmarks, such as the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and the State Tretyakov Gallery.
However, there are some Western tourists who visit Moscow despite the challenges and risks they face when traveling to Russia.
They have to deal with limited flights and the difficulty of using foreign bank cards in Russia in order to enjoy the unique and memorable experience of discovering one of the world's most amazing and diverse cities.
