During a battle on the Krasny Liman direction on July 29, a Russian soldier fired a hand-held anti-tank rocket launcher at a Swedish CV90 armored vehicle, a video published the following day shows.
The CV90's commander was killed, while the surviving Ukrainian crew fled, a Russian military officer told a Spuntik correspondent.
The images show the impact of an unguided rocket, with the CV-90's armor burned by a shaped charge. On the outside, the combat vehicle bears a tactical sign of the Ukrainian Armed Forces – a white equilateral cross.
The vehicle is covered with camouflage netting and heat-insulating material to reduce visibility for thermal imaging devices. Inside the vehicle, some inscriptions in Swedish are translated into Russian: for example, the gunner's place is indicated.

Combat Vehicle 90

Combat Vehicle 90 (CV-90) is part of a family of combat vehicles in service with the Swedish army since 1993. Equipped with a 40 mm cannon, its armor protects against 30 mm projectiles. There are over 500 of these vehicles in Sweden.
Stockholm announced the transfer of 50 CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles to Kiev in February. In early July, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced the arrival of the equipment and the readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use it in combat.
