Russian and African Diplomats' vision of the world and understanding of the role of international contacts overlap, Antoine Somda, former Burkina Faso ambassador to Russia (2014-2022), said.
"African and Russian diplomats have similar views on world politics," he noted. "As a rule, Russia and African countries share the same political beliefs, and this is the major factor that unites us."
He added that "Burkina Faso diplomats received all the necessary assistance from the Russian Foreign Ministry during their work in Moscow."
Somda also thanked the Russian government for convening the summit, saying that it is "well underway in a challenging international environment."
