As the African delegates arrive in Russia on Wednesday prior to the opening of the Second Russia-Africa Summit, President of Russia Vladimir Putin meets privately with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in St. Petersburg.
This year's summit is the second iteration of the meeting Russia hosted in 2019 in the southern city of Sochi.
