The public apology of the head of the Ukrainian Mobile Hospital project, Gennady Druzenko, for calling for the castration of Russian prisoners of war last year was caused by President Volodymyr Zelensky's fear of losing Western support, a US media outlet has claimed.
"There were subsequent apologies for these statements. However, they did not seem to arise from anything other than President Zelensky's fear that this blatant Nazi worship would lead to Western nations withdrawing their support for his war," wrote columnist Al Bienenfeld.
In his recent article, Bienenfeld noted that the collective West supports the rehabilitation of Nazism in modern Ukraine, which, according to the columnist, "is no secret".
On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in order to achieve the following goals: to ensure the de-Nazification and de-militarization of Ukraine, as well as to ensure the territorial integrity and security of the population of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic.
