"The Ukrainian armed forces shelled a section of the road in the village of Maslova Pristan, Shebekinsky district. Shell fragments hit passing cars. Two women were in one of them, they died on the spot from their injuries. There are two injured in the second car," Gladkov said.
According to him, one injured man has shrapnel wounds to the chest, the second has shrapnel wounds to the lower extremities. In serious condition, they were taken to the city hospital, all the necessary medical care is being provided.
On Thursday night, the town of Shebekino was subjected to a strong attack by the Ukrainian military, massive shelling continued during the day, people massively left the city and its environs. The governor reported that since midnight Thursday, 11 civilians had suffered from shelling in the district.
On Friday morning, Gladkov said that the night in the Belgorod region was relatively calm, but the shelling of the Shebekinsky district continues.
