Train Derails in Crimea Due to 'Intervention of Unauthorized Persons': Head of Local Parliament

A grain-loaded train derailed on the railway near the Russian city of Simferopol, Crimea peninsula, there were no casualties as a result of the emergency, the head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, declared.

The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, said that "there was an explosion on the railway due to the intervention of unauthorized persons."
Wagons with grain derailed on the railway between Chistenkoye and Pochtovoe stations in the Simferopol region, there were no casualties as a result of the emergency, the head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksenov, said earlier.
The incident is connected with the intervention of outsiders, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Crimean Railway" (KZhD) specified.
According to the Minister of Transport of Crimea, preliminary data shows that about eight wagons went off the rails, it is planned to restore the railway tracks near Simferopol and open traffic by Thursday evening.
"The explosion occurred due to the intervention of outsiders, law enforcement agencies are working, we will wait for official information," Konstantinov said on the air of a Russian TV channel.
