Even though Ngamaleu joined the club nearly a year ago, he stated that he is happy to be here as Dynamo is a "very special place".
"It is a special event and also in a very, very special place. Frankly, it makes me happy and it gives me a lot of joy too. I'm happy to be here with my teammates, to be with people who contribute to make the club better. So I'm very happy to be here," stated the footballer.

Speaking about his attitude towards Russia and the Russians, the footballer stated that he likes Russian mentality, adding that he became familiar with Russia in 2017, as he was playing there for the Confederations Cup.

"I already had a little idea about Russia because I was here in 2017 for the Confederations Cup, so I knew a little bit about what it was like," outlined Ngamaleu. "So I'm not surprised, I'm quite happy to be here. I like the Russian mentality, the people welcomed me and everything!"

In the 1990 World Cup, the Cameroon national team reached the quarterfinals under the leadership of Soviet coach Valery Nepomniachtchi. This was the greatest achievement of the Cameroonian team, which has qualified for the World Cup finals more often than other African teams.
Speaking about possible cooperation between Russia and Cameroon at the present stage, Ngamaleu stressed, that only managers can decide whether there is going to be any kind of mutual cooperation in that sphere. He also outlined that he'd be glad to be coached by the Russians.

"Frankly, it is something to do again, why not? So after that it remains between the leaders (the managers)," said the Dynamo player. "It's up to the managers to say who can be a coach and who can't. [...] Personally I would be happy to have a Russian coach!"
