Kenya Wildlife Service Continues Training Tour Driver Guides to Strengthen Professional Capacity
The organization, in partnership with the government of Kwale County, has carried out a driver-guide training in Ukunda for 150 specialists, the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) said on social media.
Three sessions have already been completed, bringing the total number of trained driver guides across the Coast region to 500, it noted.
According to the KWS, the initiative is designed to enhance:
🟠wildlife conservation awareness;
🟠customer service excellence;
🟠sustainable tourism practices;
🟠safety and responsible guiding;
🟠knowledge of Kenya’s unique biodiversity and tourism attractions.
