Madagascar to Prosecute Former President Andry Rajoelina: Reports
An international arrest warrant is reportedly being considered, as the former head of state remains abroad, according to an announcement by new Minister of Justice Fanirisoa Ernaivo to a foreign media outlet.
Anyone implicated in any offenses will be subject to legal proceedings, explicitly including the former president, Ernaivo confirmed.
The announced legal actions come amid a political transition in Madagascar, marked by Rajoelina's departure after several weeks of protests.

According to the media, the former head of state left Madagascar on October 12 with the support of France, aboard a French plane.
